About

Mental health therapist supporting clients in Missouri and Kansas

Hello, My name is Jennifer (she/her)!

I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kansas, a National Certified Counselor, and a graduate of Missouri State University’s CACREP-Accredited Mental Health Counseling Master’s program.

I help individuals struggling with negative inner voices, anxiety, depression, and super high self-created standards create balance between life and working or school. I also support couples who want to work on communication and sharing their needs while respecting the needs of their partner(s).

I am under the direct supervision of Lee Harris, MS, LPC (Missouri 2012014466), LCPC (Kansas 2535), RPT-S, NCC.

Approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based where we explore what systems and practices work best for you. While it’s important to have different coping strategies, it’s even more important to process stressors so you can regain control over your thoughts and physical reactions to provide you with the relief and sense of power.

We will also collaborate on a personalized self-care routine and ideas of things to try to maintain balance and harmony between your mind and body. My goal is to provide a nonjudgmental space for you to process what’s going on in life and help you find constructive ways to thrive, not just survive.
